Palazzo Rosadi is a beautifully restored historical manor house dating from 1785, and has been in the Rosadi family for over 200 years. It is a beautiful country home in a wonderful location near the little village of Monterchi (near Arezzo) with 6 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, garden, a 12 x 6 swimming pool that is warmed by an all day sun exposure with an impressive panoramic views, and for the kid’s to enjoy themselves a tennis table!

Palazzo Rosadi was a farming family’s residence for two hundred years.
One of the charms of staying in Tuscany is that most houses have a long and interesting history.

In 1889 Francesco Rosadi came to live in Ripoli with his family. He had bought a number of farm estates in the area, and Palazzo Rosadi was in a good and central position to run and manage all of them.

In 1902 Palazzo Rosadi was extended as the family had already grown.
They used the services of a local artist, Giangio, from Monterchi, who decorated the majority part of the bedrooms and corridors.

During the 2nd World War the house was used as a refuge to the inhabitants of Ripoli, during a 2 week bombardment by German forces.

In more recent times, the house has been used as a family home, from where they managed the farming of their local land.

From the year 2000, the Rosadi family became involved in tourism, and many visitors from all over the world have subsequently enjoyed interesting and relaxing holidays at the villa.

Grassed paths through mature woods provide splendid opportunities for gentle walks or running, and continue throughout the vast, private parkland ( 25 hectares) that surrounds the house.

The vistas are absolutely splendid, looking over small hilltop towns and villages with the Apennine mountain range forming the backdrop in the far distance.

The immaculate, manicured garden is over 3 terraces with the swimming pool on the level below the house.
From the paved poolside area guests may take full advantage of the magnificent vistas.

A stone barn has been renovated into a large, quality shower/changing room complete with WC serving the pool.

Palazzo Rosadi is a property with a very high standard of accomodation and facilities.
It is managed directly by the owners. In case of any problems, the owners are just 20 minutes away. They are there to meet and greet you, show you around the property and help with any needs you have.
The difference between a property managed by the owners and a property owned by someone living in another country is huge. FROM VILLA' TORRE DEL CIELO' AWAY AND RENTING THE 2 HOUSES TOGETHER , IT IS POSSIBLE TO OBTEIN A PROPERTY SLEEPING 22 PEOPLE.
IDEAL FOR A LARGE GROUP OR WEDDINGS.

Palazzo Rosadi offers unique accommodation. You will find precious period furniture and all the modern comforts making your stay pleasant and relaxing.

At the ground floor of Palazzo Rosadi you will find: a fully equipped laundry, a large living room (80 sq. m.) with armchairs, table and chairs for 12 people, Satellite TV, stereo and large fireplace.

Adjacent to the fireplace there is the kitchen (28 sq. m.) with: table and chairs, microwave, kettle, italian coffee maker Bialetti, american coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, oven, fridge and the complete dish facilities.

On the first floor you will find another fully equipped kitchen: (without dishwasher), a working fireplace and a small balcony.
There is also a preciously decorated living room with a glass cupboard, table and chairs, armchairs, TV with video recorder, telephone and an internet connection if you have your own laptop computer.

Along a decorated corridor there are four bedrooms, at the end of the corridor there is a lovely balcony, from which you can admire the enchanting country landscape surrounding the villa.
Two of the rooms are double rooms and each have en-suite bathroom with shower, WC and wash basin.
The other two rooms are one double and one twin room. The double has its own private bathroom and the twin has an ensuite.

There are hairdryers in each of the bathrooms of Palazzo Rosadi.

On the second floor there are two finely furnished twin bedrooms (both can be double), which each have a bathroom with shower.

All the 6 bedrooms can be double.

Therefore we can accommodate up to 12 people (in 6 rooms) and on request we can provide two baby cots and highchairs.
