Villa Saida, is built respecting the traditions of Tuscany, using materials available in the area, like wooden beams and rafters handcrafted on local walnut.
Also materials for roof and floor are handmade in Tuscany. Certainly modernity is not forgotten. The value of the structure does not derive only from the high quality of the materials and from many comforts, but also from its location: in fact, on an area from where we can enjoy an unique view of the Alpi Apuane (the marble mountains), the Rocca Ariostesca in the centre of Castelnuovo, reachable walking on a shaded road, the Monte Alfonso and its fortress (that is part of the natural park of the Alpi Apuane) and finally the Appennino.
In the river Serchio Valley we can see the Villetta bridge, one of the highest rail bridge of Italy. On the left we can admire the Pania della Croce, while on the right the beautiful "Pania di Corfino", a rocky group on which there is the Orecchiella Park, and at the far end the pass of the Radici inside the Appennino Park that, when snowy in winter, is a incredible sight.
The area offers the possibility to practise many sports (trekking, golf, mountain bike, horse riding, in addition of the near tennis courts and soccer fields). Also other outdoor activities are available for a complete relaxation.
A little farer than twenty kilometres there are the Bagni di Lucca baths, already famous at the roman age, where there are particular kind of warm and healthy waters and mud.
Many Tuscan tourist resorts are easily reachable: art and historic towns like Lucca, Pisa, Firenze are close to the Villa. Less than an hour is needed to reach the Versilia seaside, while in winter there are many locations where we can go skiing (Careggine, Casone di Profecchia, Abetone, Radici e Val di Luce).

PARK: The Villa lies in a wonderful garden of about 4.066 square yards, confines with the wood at one side and has a fence all around with an entrance equipped by an automated gate and divided in two: one for cars and a second for persons.

POOL: Heated (14 solar panel) and open from first day of April to the last day of September.
It can be opened beyond these dates, upon request, if possible. The pool, from where you can see a wonderful sight, is 14 X 6 meters and constantly deep 1,50 meter. The water of the swimming pool contains salt (NaCl).
The hydrolysis of it creates ipoclorito of Na for one perfect disinfection without damages for the body. It does not come added CHLORINE that it is toxic and it decolorates the skin. There are four positions for water message and is equipped by garden furniture like easy chairs and beds for sun baths.

Altitude 360 mtr. (400 yards)

INTERNAL DISPOSITION: Villa Saida develops on three floors (536 sq.m. (641 sq. yards):
Ground floor (210 sq.m (251 sq.yards)): There is a large sitting/dining room (66 square yards) with beautiful and comfortable leather sofas , satellite TV with 32 inc screen, a large table in local wood chestnut for 12-14 persons and a computer.
Adjacent is a wide, bright and fully equipped kitchen(traditional and microwave ovens, dish washer, refrigerator etc. and a table that may capable of 6 to 8 seats. A second hall with a kitchen fully equipped as the one already described, with two sofas, 32 inch screen of a satellite TV, a table for 6-8 seat; two double bedrooms (one with two single bed and one with one double bed), 2 bathrooms of which one with shower.
First Floor (201 sq. m. (241 sq. yards)): cit can be reached climbing a beautiful and bright stair built with Tuscan typical material and includes a double bedroom with wardrobe room and bathroom with double sink, a Jacuzzi bath and shower with water massage; a second double bedroom with bathroom with double sink and shower; another double bedroom with bathroom equipped with a Jacuzzi bath and shower with water massage.
These three bedrooms have a terrace offering a beautiful view of the pool, the Garfagnana and Serchio River valley, and Monte Alfonso Fortress. At the same floor there are two more bedrooms with adjacent bathrooms with shower.

Basement (125 sq.m (150 sq. yards) disposal: reachable with the internal stair or from outside the building: it includes a large garage (with two doors operated with remote control and sufficient to park two cars inside and other two outside but covered.
Furthermore there is another bathroom with shower, a washer room with washing machine, a sink and a table with iron for ironing. (Other rooms at this floor like tavern, game room, gym, wine-cellar, will become available in a near future).

ACCESSORIES: All bedrooms are equipped with TV sets and music with wire system; the two sitting rooms have satellite TV, DVD reader; washing machine, 2 dishwasher, 2 microwave oven, 2 traditional oven, 2 large refrigerator-freezer and mobile barbecue.
