You can see one arena from the apartment. The area is great for cycle tours of all difficulties. The amous Hundertwasser church of St. Barbara is in Baernbach. The thermal baths Therme Nova are in Koeflach, the leisure centre Piberstein (tennis, bathing lake, boat hire) and an18-hole golf course are 3.4 km away.
The county capital Graz and the south Styrian wine route as well as the Packer man-made lake (swimming, surfing, sailing) can easily be reached by car. The family ski resorts Gaberl, Hirschegg, Modriach and Hebalm are approx. 20 km away, Salzstiegl approx. 30 km away.
Summer hikes to the Hebalm, Gleinalm and into the south Styrian wine region.
