Il Mulino is a beautiful and historical farmhouse dating from the 17th century, and has been lovingly restored with both tradition and comfort in mind. Set in a wonderful location near the little village of Monterchi (near Arezzo) with 3 bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms, garden, pool and surrounded by fantastic and unspoilt countryside.

Il Mulino is in a great position for exploring both Tuscany and Umbria.
Arezzo is just 30 minutes away offering quick train links to Florence. Most guests visit nearby Cortona, Gubbio, San Gimignano, Siena, Florence and many other places of interest.

Monterchi, the nearest village with services, is also famous as the home of the 'Madonna del Parto' fresco by Piero della Francesca.
The town is 4km from Il Mulino and has a wonderful selection of restaurants, in and around the ancient walls of the village. Bus stop in town.

Il Mulino offers unique accommodation spread across three levels. You will find tasteful furniture and all the modern comforts making your stay pleasant and relaxing. On the ground floor of Il Mulino you can find: a fully equipped laundry/cloakroom, a large kitchen/dining room with a traditional 'stufa di legna' or wood burning stove, table and chairs for 6 adults, a cool reading and relaxing room.
The kitchen is complete with electric oven, gas hob and extractor fan, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, Italian coffee maker and electric kettle. There is also a safe for storing your valuables and passports etc.

The kitchen has double doors leading out to an external eating area, with stone table and six more chairs - all covered by a pergola.
We also have a highchair available for babies.

On the first floor you will find two warmly decorated double bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms. In one bathroom there is a chest of draws with a baby changing mat.
There is also a comfortable living room with a bookcase, three sofas, TV with DVD and video recorder, telephone point (fine for Internet). The bookcase is one of three in the villa offering a broad range of reading material, mostly in English.
There are also a number of recent films to watch on DVD. For children (or the young at heart!) there is a Playstation games console with a selection of games. One of the sofas is also a double sofabed, just in case you need more room.

From the lounge, there is a staircase leading up to the third bedroom.
This can be made up as a double or twin bedroom, depending on your group needs. This room also has a ensuite bathroom.

There are hairdryers in each of the bathrooms of Il Mulino, as well as fans in each of the bedrooms.
There is a fixed cot and a travel cot available.

Outside, the swimming pool is fenced with rustic wood to ensure your children's safety. There are 6 sun loungers and a table and chairs in the pool area.
There are also 2 umbrellas offering shade. There is also a fresh water shower in the pool area.

Il Mulino is situated in 10 acres of land, half of which are fields where children can safely play, and the rest are woods to explore and see the local wildlife - including birds of prey, wild boar and deer.
