Sant Antimo nasce come antico oratorio nel 1500. Nel 1876 subisce la prima trasformazione in casa rurale e solo oggi, grazie ad un sapiente restauro che ha riportato la struttura alla originaria bellezza è stato adibito a residenza di campagna.
La casa fa parte della storica Tenuta di Lilliano, nei pressi di Castellina in Chianti, situata su un poggio da cui si gode un bellissimo panorama sulle campagne del Chianti senese fino alle torri di Monteriggioni.

We just returned from a wonderful week in this beautiful villa-located in the heart of Chianti Classico territory- and feel we made the right choice in every way. The property has been beautifully restored while maintaining it's rustic Tuscan charm, simplicity and history. The setting is private with stunning panoramic vistas of rolling vineyards and farmland from every angle. For larger groups there is plenty of privacy in the rambling house and "honeymoon cottage", courtyard patios and terraces, or the pool area overlooking the valley. Everything is maintained in immaculate condition. The kitchen is completely stocked with every utensil one needs to cook at home, or you can arrange for a local cook to come in and prepare traditional Tuscan meals grilled on the open hearth in the outdoor kitchen (we did both). Also there are numerous (and excellent) restaurants a short drive away if you want to eat out. If you're looking to explore central Tuscany between Sienna and Firenze this is the perfect base camp...so much to see within a 30 minute to an hour drive in every direction. Allan D. If you are considering a vacation in Chianti, look no further. This villa is absolutely beautiful. . . the size, style, the POOL, the views, the location near many Tuscan hill towns. We loved every minute of our stay there and were so sad to leave. text4

Better and larger than we imagined. Photos are a true example of what the villa looks like. Four bedrooms (3 with en suite full baths/stall shower; 1 with full bath/stall shower right outside the door) + 1/2 bath in main house. "Honeymoon" Cottage offered living room, kitchen/dining area, step down bedroom with full bath/stall shower. Beautiful zero-edge pool, beautiful views. Wonderful caretaker, Iolanda. Great time. We loved the house, the pool and the location. It was an easy drive into Siena and Florence and close (but not too close) to the major highway. The bedrooms and bathrooms were neat and clean and good size. The dining room held 10 people very comfortably and the outside patio area with a grill was a wonderful place to eat dinner and watch the sunset. The only negatives werr the lack of an itnernet connection and only one phone in the enite large house. text4
